Volumetric test used to detect discontinuities in all types of materials (Steels, Aluminum, Copper, Plastics, Ceramics, etc). It can be applied to pieces of any type, welds, with the possibility of detecting manufacturing, process or fatigue faults.

Advantages: it is one of the most complete tests that with the advancement of technology, it has practically no limitations. The results are obtained immediately.

Disadvantages: it is a test that is limited when the geometry of the piece to be tested is not known and it is armed or assembled, as well as when the type of material is unknown. In some cases, it is not possible to work in high temperatures.
